Valentine’s Day Cocktails
featuring Award-Winning Irish Gin
The following recipes are from Grace O’Malley Spirits, and feature their ‘award winning gin, dedicated to the legendary Irish Pirate Queen’.
They’re perfect for this time of year when the temptation of making something special, including Valentine’s Day Cocktails, is on the cards.

Valentine’s Day Cocktails #1
Westport Rose
Ingredients:
- 5 cl Grace O’Malley Heather Infused Irish Gin
- 3 cl sweet white Vermouth (for example Lillet Blanc)
- 1 tsp Aperol
- 4 dashes Rose Bitters (for example The Bitter Truth)
- Glass: cocktail coupe
- Decoration: rose petal
Method:
Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes and add the ingredients. Stir on ice, then strain into a coupe or martini glass. Add the rose petal.
Valentine’s Day Cocktails #2
Chocolate Gin
Ingredients:
- 5 cl Grace O’Malley Heather Infused Irish Gin
- 1 tsp Dark Chocolate liqueur (the non-creamy dairy free type, such as Mozart Dark Chocolate or Giffard)
- 4 dashes Chocolate Bitters (for example The Bitter Truth)
- 2 cl Lime Cordial (for example Rose’s Lime Juice)
- Glass: cocktail coupe
Method:
Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes and add the ingredients. Stir on ice, then strain into a coupe glass.
