Tourist Walk – Four Walls

Tourist Walk

Tourist Walk

I’d consider myself fairly with it when it comes to what’s going on with Arts and Culture in Ireland however I am continually learning of new projects and I love being surprised by what this fair Island can offer us and my latest surprise was from Tourist Walk who are four brothers from Northern Ireland who to put it simply, find interesting locations, play music and record their musical adventure.

Tourist Walk is a cross-discipline art project, which seeks to explore and celebrate the unique character of location through live music. It is the brainchild of four brothers from Warrenpoint in Co. Down.

One of their latest short films and a song that caught my attention is their original song about the history of the Hogan Stand in Croke Park, Dublin and as it is St. Patrick’s Day today … sure there’s no better time to share this film with you.

The narration at the beginning is a little low so turn your volume up, then sit back and enjoy the musical offerings from Tourist Walk with some help from the Prima Quartet

For more information, to connect with these musical lads and to check out their other musical offerings, like this version of the ‘The Auld Triangle’ visit their website here touristwalkofficial.com – I know I’ll be keeping up to speed with where they turn up next.
