LCD Soundsystem – LCD Soundsystem, 2005

 

My introduction to LCD Soundsystem was their self titled album, LCD Soundsystem and my love for their music grew from there. I listen to them all the time, on the walk home from wherever, at home, pre-party, at the party, post party … this record hasn’t been played for a while but I’ll take a notion some day to listen to it’s record rawness again … for now it’s on my phone, my PC and online.

Alas LCD Soundsystem is no more, however James Murphy, the lead singer, songwriter, producer, DJ and more is still out and about doing cool music things like DJing and collaborating with other great musicians like the Gorillaz (just released) and Arcade Fire (yet to be released)… but just because LCD are no more doesn’t make them any less free from the music world.
