With Valentine’s Day upon us this week I’m going to recommend a few rose-mantic Valentine drinks fit for the occasion. You can push the boat out or if you don’t have a boat a dingy will do.

Pink Champagne

You can get really good pink champagne for a good price. You don’t have to spend a fortune but if it’s the good stuff you’re after prices start from around €35 upwards.

Pink Cava / Pink Sparkling Wines

When it comes to ‘Valentine Drinks’, Pink Cava is a good option for you if you don’t have the cash this year. It has the pop, the bubbles and will go down a treat with a strawberry in the glass. Most people won’t know the difference anyway. Italy do so really great Pink Sparkling Wines along with France. Prices for Cava and the pink bubbly start from around €10.

Sparkling Perry and Sparkling Wine Infused With Fruit

These drinks are very popular. You can pick them up for around €5 per bottle and most people who try them, love them.

If the bubbly stuff is not for you, you could try your hand at a few saucy cocktails. There are many out there with some very interesting names, which can add more fun to your night.
