Powers Irish Whiskey, Three Swallow Release

This week I would like to recommend a new offering from Powers Irish Whiskey, their Three Swallows Release. There have been a few new releases from Powers in recent times; Powers Signature and Powers John Lane but Three Swallow Release is the latest offering.

Powers Three Swallow Release is a single pot still whiskey produced in the Midleton Distillery in Cork and it really is a tasty brew. Aromas of spice, herbs and wood follow on to the palate. Hints of citrus fruits develop and it finishes with a soft spicy sweetness that hangs around for a while.

This is definitely one for the cabinet and will set you back around €45.
