Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Wear & Comfort Retouch-Free
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Lancome’s Teint Idole foundation, I recently participated in a ‘We’ll find your shade, you find your power’ #makeupismypower online campaign.
I was awarded for my participation with a bottle of the aforementioned foundation, only it was different because to celebrate its birthday it has been reinvented. Teint Idole Ultra 24H is now Teint Idole Ultra Wear & Comfort Retouch-Free.
With an SPF of 15, this reinvigorated foundation comes in a new bottle and is now available in 40 fabulous shades! From lightest to the darkest, allowing for the perfect shade matching for every wearer.
I also received a new to the market ‘Multi-Function Foundation Brush #28’, perfect for high coverage but a brush that can also be adapted to whatever coverage you use. The brush head itself has a unique shape that fits into all the contours of the face. This includes the often tricky areas of around your nose and under your eyes.
Lancome make it easy to find your perfect shade. You can visit your nearest Lancome beauty counter, or you can go online at lancome-shadefinder.co.uk here.
Finding my shade was easy and I opted for 008 Beige Opale. Like many my skin is paler during the winter season than other times of the year. Using this light colour gives me the opportunity to play it natural even with full coverage. However I can also darken it with some simple blush contouring when the time comes.
I love the texture of the foundation which is Goldilocks like, in the sense that it’s not too thin or not too thick. The coverage is smooth and I found it controlled the dreaded forehead shine. Long-lasting with an SPF of 15, this foundation will see me through the Springtime rain right into the Summer sun.
