Round Mirrors
Home style trends for 2016 are suggesting statement mirrors in your bathroom. As a first time home owner who is eagerly but gradually putting her own style stamp on her home, I’m all about ‘statement’ in every room, but have to agree that a statement mirror in a bathroom gives it that extra something. Perhaps you could call it a style edge.
From my research (viewing drooling over tons of images of beautifully designed, decorated and styled bathrooms online), I’ve come to the conclusion that my favourite mirror shape that creates the best statement is the round mirror. To me there’s something funky yet traditional about this shape of mirror for a bathroom. Depending on the size it can look like a porthole giving a nautical feel to the room. However it’s the oversized round mirror that tickles my fancy, whether it’s hanging shabby chicly from a rope, hung between twin sinks, is framed or is not, I’ve set my sights on this style for my own home (for now).
