Bellingham Ancient Earth Pinotage

This week I would like to recommend a great red wine from South Africa, Bellingham Ancient Earth Pinotage. The Pinotage grape is synonymous with South Africa and is their main red grape variety. The Pinotage grape has a funny story. It is in fact a cross between a Pinot Noir and a Cinsaut grape. It was breed together in South Africa back in the early 1900s and was claimed as their own.

Ancient Earth Pinotage is packed full of flavor. Raspberry, Cherry and a bit of spice fill the mouth, smooth with a long-lasting finish.

You should find this in all good off Licences and will set you back about €15.
