B.A.R.E in the Woods, Music Festival, Garryhinch Woods, Laois/Offaly Border
Right so, that’s my Birthday weekend sorted! B.A.R.E in the Woods Music Festival ‘on the boundary of Garryhinch Woods on the Laois Offaly border on the old Warburton estate’, just to be percise like. The line up is brilliant …
… And Patrick and I even got our hands on a couple of the Early Bird tickets … seriously at €20.00 each, where would you be going? … B.A.R.E in the Woods obviously. The Festival has free camping and is ‘Bring You Own Beer’, as long as it’s not in glass bottles, there will be no alchohol on sale but if you are thirsty for a beverage of the non-alcoholic nature or and feel peckish from all that dancing and jumping about there will be food and drink vendors on site. Legends have it that after a late night conversation and dream, a host of artistic and house (wood) proud music lovers began their trip of turning a dream into the reality that is B.A.R.E in the Woods. These considerate folk are giving the lucky lads and lassies of Ireland the opportunity to step into their home in the woods for a festival to remember and I can not wait to be part of that experience!
To get you in the mood of what to expect here are music video’s from some of the highlights expected of the festival … and they haven’t even named the Top Secret Headliners yet!
New Secret Weapon – Look at the State of it
Phantom – Kisses
The Eskies – Fever
Liza Flume – What We Called Love
Corner Boy – Ghost Town City
Sound of System Breakdown – Neon Contrails
The Radioactive Grandma – Don’t Look Down
