Bourbon Cask Aged: The Dubliner Irish Whiskey

This week I would like to recommend an Irish Whiskey that was launched in 2015 called The Dubliner Irish Whiskey, produced by First Ireland Spirits.

This whiskey is aged in bourbon casks and is a blend of single malt and grain whiskey. Ageing the whiskey in bourbon cask gives the whiskey a smooth slightly sweet style. Aromas of apple gives way to flavours of honey and caramel, ending in a soft spicy finish.

You should pick up a bottle in most good Off Licences and it will set you back about €38.
